from the first 1/2 hour of the I2643 recording, i took the last 20 minutes and calculated the ASDR for a 0.1ms bin size. i counted bursts using a crude threshold approach. (Any ASDR above 800Hz was called a burst). the resulting burst rate was 0.65362Hz. 786 bursts occurred in 1202.5311 seconds. The average burst rate is 0.65362Hz. so I'll try to stimulate optically at 6.5362Hz. failed once and succeeded once on 30min restart when aux and dig files were recorded. turned off those streams and it restarted once successfully. appears that there was a "buffer overrun" problem around 3AM temperature is way high (37.5 deg) so I'll just record a tad bit of spontaneous activity and then take this baby off. it looks like the burst rate was increased from 0.65362 to 3.0588Hz. and the average array-wide firing rate went from 4.9807 to 15.7466Hz. so stimulating at 10x the burst rate increased the burst rate by 4ish, and firing rate by 3.5ish.
